Wenn wir nichts tun, wird in 9 Tagen der Bundestag ein Gesetz beschließen, dass dazu führt, dass

1 ganzes halbes Jahr lang

  • gespeichert wird, welche Internetseiten du aufgerufen hast
  • wann du wie lange mit wem telefoniert hast
  • wo du warst (genauer: Standort des Handys)
  • wem du von wo eine SMS geschickt hast.

Die Daten bekommen die Polizei, Staatsanwaltschaft, Nachrichtendienste und ausländische Staaten. Hier wird dagegen gekämpft, du kannst helfen!

Mit Hilfe der über die gesamte Bevölkerung gespeicherten Daten können Bewegungsprofile erstellt, geschäftliche Kontakte rekonstruiert und Freundschaftsbeziehungen identifiziert werden. Auch Rückschlüsse auf den Inhalt der Kommunikation, auf persönliche Interessen und die Lebenssituation der Kommunizierenden werden möglich.

Wo liegt das Problem?

Die aktuellen Pläne zur Aufzeichnung von Informationen über die Kommunikation, Bewegung und Mediennutzung jedes Bürgers stellen die bislang größte Gefahr für unser Recht auf ein selbstbestimmtes und privates Leben dar.

Unter einer Vorratsdatenspeicherung würden wir alle leiden:

  • Eine Vorratsdatenspeicherung greift unverhältnismäßig in die persönliche Privatsphäre ein.
  • Eine Vorratsdatenspeicherung beeinträchtigt berufliche Aktivitäten (z.B. in den Bereichen Medizin, Recht, Kirche, Journalismus) ebenso wie politische und unternehmerische Aktivitäten, die Vertraulichkeit voraussetzen. Dadurch schadet sie letztlich unserer freiheitlichen Gesellschaft insgesamt.

Also from SLA Industires, Hallmarks are incorporated into a subject’s gene structure and manifest as distinctive tattoos, birthmarks, logos, or other markings on the skin. They are functionally identical to a DNA tattoo, but Hallmarks manifest on the subject’s descendants, rather than on the subject himself. Implanting Hallmarks is an extremely difficult and expensive process (30+, requiring Expert: Genetics to even attempt it). Hallmarks are used to indicate lineage (in the case of genetically optimized corporate families) or place of manufacture (for bioengineered animals). HC=1D6/2, SC=MA.

An old favorite rediscovered: Dan's Total System Technologies

I couldn’t find it on google at first, but now I rediscoved the link. The site is full of goodies and looks plain awful. Updated till 2004 Dan made some really cool stuff:

But we don’t stop there. We also add a Times Square Plus and Targeting Scope HUD in the Patch so you’re enhanced while looking like your disabled. What about connecting it to a computer or your gun I hear you ask, well the connecting cables are part of the string that holds the patch in place so they won’t know that your enhanced.

The CyberPunk 2.0.2.0 DFW Node has a neat little piece of equipment you can find below. I would guess that it being briefcase sized is a bit huge. Think of it as a plug in for your PDA/’deck and it works out just fine with only 2.3 kg for a dedicated antenna. The antenna is connected over a wireless network.

If you can do without this, more power to you. But remember, privacy is a matter of the past. Get yours before you’re the only only left blind in the ‘hood.

Game terms: The SSCS stores information at a rate of 2 MU per hour. 20 MU are included onboard. An initial scan takes 1d10 minutes in a quiet area, 3d10 in noisey areas. The inital output is a “wire mesh” construction that can be rendered, taking an additional 1d6 minutes per minute of recording. Noise generators will negate the SSCS in the generator’s area of effect. The SSCS cannot be configured to eavesdrop. It does show the relative thickness and composition of objects- a solid metal door would be shown as a solid mass while a wooden door would show the air space between panels.

WIREHEADING – Hardware devices which link into and continually stimulate the pleasure centers of a person’s brain. Very addictive.

Technical specs:

A typical headset consists of a trode set and a breadbox, a small gadget about the size of a flattened egg, containing a battery-pack and the neuralware which provides brain stimulation.

Wireheading is strictly illegal! All prices listed here are, therefore, black-market ones. Battery-packs come in two varieties: a rechargable one, which costs 50eb and can sustain up to 72 hours of continual use before it needs tobe plugged into a 110v socket for a 12 hour recharge, or a disposable one, which costs 20eb. Direct-connect versions, called walljacks, are available for 100eb; they plug straight into a wall socket and run off house current with about the same drain as a small CD player.
