Short Sword
CLASS: Anti-Personnel COST: 7,750eb
STRENGTH: 6 MU: 5
PROGRAMMING: 186 DIFFICULTY: 31
FUNCTIONS: Anti-Personnel
OPTIONS: Superrealistic ICON
COST MULTIPLIER: x25 (Anti-Personnel x25)
ICON: A double-edged blade with a pearl handle.
DATA: As a military assault programmer, I was always privy to what the military developed as offensive software. Well, I needed something that had more of a cutting edge as far as software was concerned, so I started forging swords to use in my assaults. So there really is no need for you to give me a piece of your mind when I can cut a slice for myself. This program causes 1D6 points of physical damage per round to the netrunner until you cease the attack or the netrunner dies.
Long Sword
CLASS: Anti-Personnel COST: 8,250eb
STRENGTH: 8 MU: 5
PROGRAMMING: 198 DIFFICULTY: 33
FUNCTIONS: Anti-Personnel
OPTIONS: Superrealistic ICON
COST MULTIPLIER: x25 (Anti-Personnel x25)
ICON: A double-edged blade with a jewel encrusted handle.
DATA: A stronger version of Short Sword.
Katana
CLASS: Anti-Personnel COST: 8,750eb
STRENGTH: 10 MU: 5
PROGRAMMING: 210 DIFFICULTY: 35
FUNCTIONS: Anti-Personnel
OPTIONS: Superrealistc ICON
COST MULTIPLIER: x25 (Anti-Personnel x25)
ICON: A katana made of the highest craftsmanship.
DATA: The strongest sword in the Sword Series from Deadlock Enterprises. Look, if you wanna play with the nastiest of the nastiest, then you gotta be better armed then they are or you end up for sale in a meat shop with people bidding on your kidneys. This causes 1D10 points of damage per round to the netrunner until he/she escapes, you cease your assault, or he/she dies.
Arc Light
CLASS: Compiler [Demon] COST: 2,400eb
STRENGTH: 7 MU: 4
PROGRAMMING: 180 DIFFICULTY: 30
FUNCTIONS: Compiler
OPTIONS: Movement Ability; Superrealistic ICON
COST MULTIPLIER; x4 (Compiler x4; Highly Specialized x2)
ICON: A squadron of eight, B-52 bombers dropping bombs.
DATA: An awe-inspiring sight if you’re on the delivery end, a deadly vision if you’re the target. This compiler holds three programs designed to attack anything in its path. However, the drawback to this compiler is that it will alert any anti-system, anti-program, and anti-personnel software within eight spaces immediately.
Arc Light Subroutine
COST: 3,125eb
PROGRAMMING: 165 DIFFICULTY: 27.5
FUNCTION(S): Anti-System; Anti-Program; Anti-Personnel
COST MULTIPLIER: x150 (Anti-System x3; Anti-Program x4; Anti-Personnel x25; Subroutine x1/2)
Nuke
CLASS: Class [Demon] COST: 1,000eb
STRENGTH: 7 MU: 3
PROGRAMMING: 150 DIFFICULTY: 25
FUNCTIONS: Compiler
OPTIONS: Superrealistic ICON
COST MULTIPLIER: x4 (Compiler x4)
ICON: A lead metallic ball about the size of a soccer ball before it explodes. After it explodes, a mushroom cloud.
DATA: There really is nothing to explain about this compiler. It contains three subroutines: anti-system, anti-program, and anti-personnel. Place this explosive in the data fortress and run like hell! Anything or anyone within ten spaces of ground zero will suffer 3D10 points of damage. Anyone or anything that enters up to thirty seconds after zero hour will suffer half damage. Someone call a Trauma Team and NetWatch, this ain’t gonna be pretty! Anyone or anything within eightteen spaces will be privileged to the deadly vision of the Mushroom Cloud.
Nuke Subroutine
COST: 3,125eb
PROGRAMMING: 165 DIFFICULTY: 27.5
FUNCTIONS: Anti-System; Anti-Program; Anti-Personnel
COST MULTIPLIER: x150 (Anti-System x3; Anti-Program x4; Anti-Personnel x25; Subroutine x1/2)
Ranger
CLASS: Compiler [Demon] COST: 1,720eb
STRENGTH: 6 MU: 7
PROGRAMMING: 258 DIFFICULTY: 43
FUNCTIONS: Compiler
OPTIONS: Movement Ability; Recognition; Invisibility; Memory; Endurance; Superrealistic ICON
COST MULTIPLIER: x4 (Compiler x4)
ICON: A muscular black male dressed in woodland camouflage carrying ALICE gear and a Colt M16A2/M203, an assault rifle/grenade launcher combination.
DATA: You’ve seen Sniper here first! Now bare witness to its brother-in-arms! The second compiler in Deadlock Enterprises’ Soldier Series. Like its brother, it can move independently, recognize the difference between a netrunner and a program, and its invisible. However, Ranger will remember names, places, and dates, never quit, and is stronger! If you buy your subroutines from Deadlock Enterprises, you’ll have a choice of stealth, intrusion, utility (copy), and evasion. Or you may opt for the Airborne Ranger Package: Anti-System, Anti-Program, Stealth, and Evasion.
Airborne Ranger Subroutine
COST: 7,200eb
PROGRAMMING: 180 DIFFICULTY: 30
FUNCTION(S): Anti-System; Evasion; Anti-Program; Stealth
COST MULTIPLIER: x24 (Anti-System x3; Evasion x2; Anti-Program x4; Stealth x2; Subroutine x1/2)
Infantry Ranger Subroutine
COST: 375eb
PROGRAMMING: 150 DIFFICULTY: 25
FUNCTIONS: Stealth; Intrusion; Utility [Copy]; Evasion
COST MULTIPLIER: x2 (Stealth x2; Intrusion x1; Utility x1; Evasion x2; Subroutine x1/2)
SR-71 Blackbird
CLASS: Intrusion COST: 2,840eb
STRENGTH: 7 MU: 13
PROGRAMMING: 432 DIFFICULTY: 72
FUNCTION(S): Evasion; Stealth; Intrusion
OPTIONS: Movement Ability; Recognition; Invisibility; Memory; Speed; Endurance; Superrealistic ICON
COST MULTIPLIER: x4 (Evasion x2; Stealth x2; Intrusion x1)
ICON: An SR-71 Blackbird.
DATA: There one minute, the next it’s gone. A few of my friends (before they were flatlined) said it would be nice to know what’s in a data fortress before they made their run against it. Then it hit me! There was a demand for software that I could supply. So I developed something that had to have independent movement, classify various signals, remember what it saw, be fast and able to endure the rigors of the net, as well as do it without with being seen. My inspiration: a poster of an SR-71 Blackbird during a pre-dawn flight. With it’s three spaces for evasion, stealth, and intrusion subroutines, if you buy them from us, they enemy won’t see you coming and when you leave, they won’t know you’ve been there!
Kevlar
CLASS: Protection COST: 150eb
STRENGTH: 5 MU: 1
PROGRAMMING: 90 DIFFICULTY: 15
FUNCTIONS: Protection
OPTIONS: Superrealistic ICON
COST MULTIPLIER: x1 (Protection x1)
ICON: A pair of black pants and a black jacket made of kevlar material.
DATA: Yo! You didn’t think I’d create all this software without creating somethin’ that would protect you now, did you?
