187 the California penal code for murder, and this gang takes their name seriously. Membership is gained by violently murdering someone very close to the initiate. Violence is a way of life for this gang, it is their mission. The highest ranking members of this gang are virtual serial killers and mass murders. The gang has been the target of the NCPD for years, but no cop has ever cracked it. Each member has a subdermal kill display, and numbers are closely monitored. The Triumvirate leadership of 187 consists of Gasey, Gein, and Dalhmer (all of which have 100-210 kills).
