Shadow Boxer
CLASS: Anti-Personnel COST: 7,750eb
STRENGTH: 6 MU: 5
PROGRAMMING: 186 DIFFICULTY: 31
FUNCTION(S): Anti-Personnel
OPTION(S): Superrealistic Icon
COST MULTIPLIER: x25 (Anti-Personnel x25)
ICON: A shadow of a man raises from the “floor” of the matrix between the two ‘runners and proceeds to fight with the enemy.
DATA: This ain’t your ordinary shadow boxer that you see on the wall. This one comes straight out of the floor to do battle for you. It will do 6d6 points of neural damage to its opponent with two left jabs, a left hook to the ribs, then a right cross to the jaw. As Download says, “It’s so pretty!”
Sting of the Scorpion
CLASS: Anti-Personnel COST: 6,250eb
STRENGTH: 4 MU: 3
PROGRAMMING: 150 DIFFICULTY: 25
FUNCTION(S): Anti-Personnel
OPTION(S): Simple Icon
COST MULTIPLIER: x25 (Anti-Personnel x25)
ICON: A braid of hair that reaches down to the netrunner’s waist. When the netrunner attacks, he/she shouts “Sting of the Scorpion!” and bows forward rapidly. The braid arches over the attacker and strikes the victim in the chest.
DATA: The VRcades have a wide variety of games to chooses from. Therefore, my staff and I gathered up some euro and played as many games as we could for two weeks. This was one of Icebreaker’s favorite moves with one of the characters she used. The program does 5d6 points of damage to its victim.
Joss
CLASS: Netrunner Enhancement COST: 3,500eb
STRENGTH: 5 MU: 5
PROGRAMMING: 210 DIFFICULTY: 35
FUNCTION(S): Netrunner Enhancement
OPTION(S): Superrealistic Icon
COST MULTIPLIER: x10 (Netrunner Enhancement x10)
ICON: A Jade statue of a smiling or frowning Buddha dependent upon good Joss or bad Joss.
DATA: In China, Joss is to them, what luck is to us. On a roll of 1-7 on a 1d10, you have good Joss and the program will add its strength to your INT score during your run. Of course, the down side to this is if you roll 8-10, you are a victim of bad Joss and I advise you jack out now because the program will subtract its strength from your INT score.
Ki
CLASS: Netrunner Enhancement COST: 3,000eb
STRENGTH: 4 MU: 4
PROGRAMMING: 180 DIFFICULTY: 30
FUNCTION(S): Netrunner Enhancement
OPTION(S): Simple Icon
COST MULTIPLIER: x10 (Netrunner Enhancement x25)
ICON: The word “KAIA!” comes from the netrunner’s mouth.
DATA: At the time I created this program, I made a trip to the Pacific Rim to visit a friend of mine who I served with for a short period of time. While I was in Japan, he and I had a tendency to spar in order to keep in shape. Well, he was usin’ his ki very freely when the idea hit me after he hit me. What if I could harness the power of ki so it could be used in the net? Well, guess what? Deadlock Enterprises has harnessed that power and we will teach you how to use it. Using Ki will add its strength to the netrunner’s INT the round after it is activated and will remain in effect until the ‘runner is no longer attacking, flees, or flatlines.
