These guys invented cyberpunk with their stories.

• Bruce Bethge: Bruce invented the term “Cyberpunk”
• Cory Docorow’s craphound.com: Cory writes post-cyberpunk stories.
• John Shirley: Haven’t read much of him.
• Neal Stephenson: Some stuff is really weird, others is fantastic. Cryptonomicon is both
• Rudy Rucker: Rudy is one of the harder to read, math oriented cyberpunk authors.
• William Gibson: Godfather of cyberpunk novels.
• Richard K. Morgan: Writer of Altered Carbon

English Cyberpunk Sites

The sites listed first are still updated:

• Datafortress 2020: droc still updates his allready huge site. Its a wonderful year you can spend there and read and read and play!
• Militech Chicks Who Love Guns Calendar: A naughty fan of mine continues the idea that there has to be a Militech Chicks Who Love Guns Calendar. Thanks!
• R. Talsorian Games: The inventor of the game has some moved to V3.
• View from the edge – Forum: I’m there as “Karsten”. What did ya expect?

Most of these sites haven’t seen an update for years.

• 2K20 (Christian Conkle’s Site): Chris has some fantastic stuff. Back in the days some of his stuff made it into the official books.
• Blackhammer Cyberpunk Project:Last updated Jan. 2008 its still a milestone site with lots of great things.
• Chrome Page: Last update: 2001. Nice focus on medical characters.
• Cyberpunk 2020 Character Generator: Last update: 2003. Has an Excel Character and NPC Gen
• Cybersmileys Datafort: Last update 2001. Ugly as hell – its great. Some houserules, equipment, the usual stuff.
• Digital Alloy / The Gamer’s Rest: Last update 2002. Gangs, music, some other stuff.

• MarScape 2030: Last update 2000. Huge Mars Sourcebook. Rather obviously I seem to have written some stuff too, but I can’t remember. Those were the days…
• Mockery’s: Last update: 2002. One of the finest sites on Cyberpunk 2020. Esp. Ocelots alternative rules are great!
• Night City Dataterm: Last update 2004. Huge site, stole my Militech Chicks Who Love Guns Calendar, but has some rather nice equipment.
• Online Lifepath Generator: Last update: 2006. The best way to create a random Character there is.
• Paper Dragon (Rust Never Sleeps, Tulsa Sourcebook):Last update: 2005 – Nightflyer has created a huge and wonderful site. Most important are his ideas on Tulsa 2020 and Chrome X, an Net-Version of the Chromebooks. He also converted Fritz Lang’s Metropolis Movie to Cyberpunk 2020
• Telerans Why waste your time? Last update 2005: Not all links still work. Whats left is good.
• The Repository: Last update: May 2007. Overrun by spam. Some good places and weapon stuff.
• Total System Technologies: Last update: 2004. Love the australian angle. Good equipment section, cyberware.
