cyberpunk2020.de joined rpgbloggers.com
I have joined rpgbloggers.com today and would like to urge you to take a look there. Its a huge metasite, where all participating blogs show their feeds, newest ones first. While most blogs are D&D-centric (sigh, what else), some offer rather good and generic advice on GMing and playing. Check it out…

Some lazy links
Since I’m by far to lazy to create some meaningful posts, today you’ll get just a few (AMAZING!!!) links.
- Killjoy Cooking With the Dungeons & Dragons Crowd
It ain’t funny, its so true. - Denial-of-coffee attacks
Cyberpunk NOW can make you laugh yourself to death. It used to be a joke from the netrunner i played. “Behave, Solo, or I hack your coffeemaker and you’ll reduced to drink tea!” But then, in those times a coffeemaker was 15 € and nothing fancy at all. - Melee-weapons: Who would think they advance in the age of guns? William Gibson talked about this one, the Wasp, in his blog. Look at it, its crazy.
PS: Sorry for yesterdays post. It was so bad I deleted it.
Gary is dead
The “cool uncle every gamer had” (as Mike Mearls put it) died. Gary Gygax died at the age of 69, way to early. He co-invented the first rpg Dungeons & Dragons in 1974 and thus was the grandfather of all rpgs – even Cyberpunk 2020. Its a sad day for every gamer.
Roll a dice in remberance today. And check out what OOTS made of it. I bet he would have liked it.
Computer Aids to Roleplaying
I found some rather nice stuff:
- If you use a point buy system with D&D 3.5, this calculator is really helpful.
- Still D&D, my Wizard loves the Item Creation Cost Calculator. Gives you Base, Material and XP Cost
- Creating Maps
- Traveller Classic Subsystem Generator (If you don’t know what this is, you don’t need it. Trust me) All via hack/)
- The Slack’n'Hash Random Thingy Generators. There are generators for virtually everything there, including reasons for you to be resurrected.
This post takes a break for some commercials (hopefully your adblocker won’t delete this post):
I’m not into WoW, but I do wish that Pen&Paper had such a good advertising. Mr. T would probably be able to make me buy V3.
Fantasy Literatur
Ich soll mir A Game of Thrones. (Song of Ice and Fire) von George R. R. Martin bestellen, meinte Ivan. Ist es gut?
Update: D&D + Cyberpunk = TPK?
Read the rest of this entry »
Rollenspiel-Archologie
Monster Manual III: No. 3 (Dungeons & Dragons Accessories) für meinen D&D Druiden gekauft…
hehe!
