Should the “Militech Chicks Who Love Guns Calendar” come back?
I used to have the very popular “Militech Chicks Who Love Guns” Calendar on the old www.cyberpunk2020.de site. Can’t use the old pics due to copyright problems; in the old days I wasn’t that aware how expensive law suits can be. So I would be reduced to images from artists who permit the use. I have added a first girl to the sidebar. Should this feature continue? Do you know any other sources of possible girls?

Obviously the chicks should come back primarily because there is no point lazing around.. so yeh do come back

That’s one for yes. Not much for all the work…

Definately yes. I’ve kept tabs on “Karstens Cyberpunk 2020 Archive” since I first went online with a 16.6 k modem: it helped define the game and the genre, and that calendar was an iconic part of all that for many years: I can’t think of the archive /without/ the calendar.

I just wish I could recommend some alternate sources for images: trolling deviant art for fellow enthusiasts who wouldn’t mind the exposure seems the easiest option: users at RPG.net might be able to help as well. Also, even though it’s Shadowrun based, dumpshock.com might have some users who could help – if you’re willing to chalk up the pointy ears and/or tusks to some fantasy themed biosculpting . . .
I’d think whatever’s left of the old CP 2020 web-ring might be able to help, but I’m not sure how many are left.

Thanks very much for the help. I thought about that problem myself. Its not the images I lack. I have some gigabytes of those. What I need is artists who agree with the publishing here. And the problem is mostly even to figure out who owns the rights. Deviant Art has a “blog about” button and sourcecode, which I figure is a permit to use. If you know some other artist, I would be very happy to hear about them.

There are many calanders that have this same them with current fire arms that hunters and other gun nuts get search for the companies and ask them for permission to use some of there pictures if you give credit to there calender. Also put a request for pictures of scantly clad ladies from the shot shows since it is a public forum and fan pictures there should be no copywrite inffringement you can also ask certain gun companies from the shot show for promo pictures and permission to use said pictures you would be suprised what you can get. DSarms had some great looking girls holding their guns. And personnal suggestion find the japanese airsoft company who is producing masume shirows guns and ask for some of their advertisments for their introduction of his rifle they actually hireds cosplay performers to dress up like some of his characters.
hopefully this will get you some stuff you can use with the permission to use them.
sorry I don’t have sites to direct you but I have simply got the pictures over time and since it is for private use never bothered to track down copywright permission.

Hey Kotus,
thanks a lot!!!
BTW, so did I. Only when you start to publish, you get vulnerable and have to look after the copyright. Gun companies … I wonder if they would allow their guns to be credited to Militech…
